Fundraising for the Chebucto Community Net

Until recently fundraising was spearheaded by the CCN Board of Directors. A Fundraising Committee is being established to address the task of supplying the Chebucto Community Net with all the resources that it requires to function effectively.

As a user of the Chebucto Community Net you are invited to join an enthusiastic group of volunteers who are being challenged to solicit from the Community a variety of needs including equipment, materials, services, time and money.

The Committee is in the early stages of organising and so this is an excellent time for someone to join in an effort and help direct its course from the beginning. While strategic planning and organising will take some time yet, there are immediate needs that are required to keep the Chebucto Community Net going.

Our most immediate need are donations for phone lines and for $55 a month a business or individual can make a significant contribution and benefit directly. Users of the donated phone line see four lines of text about the sponsor when they login on that line.
